We had hoped to write this update 2 weeks ago...
To Our US Backers
We know that all of you in the states have been waiting patiently for your puzzles. We want to begin by thanking you for your patience and apologize for our silence. We wanted to give you good news, not keep saying, “We’re still waiting, hopefully they’ll be here soon.”
You know what they say about the best laid plans....well, after experiencing delay after delay, the puzzles finally arrived in New York on the 8th. Unfortunately, customs decided to put a hold on the container that housed our puzzles. And so, one week later, after a ton of emails and phone calls to our customs broker and the logistics company, customs released the cargo. Now we are just waiting on the trucking company to deliver them, which, we are told, will be Monday.
All of these delays were totally unexpected but not out of the ordinary. After all, we’ve been doing Kickstarters for several years now and this is the first time that customs has held our cargo. But we know it happens all the time for one reason or another. We were fortunate it only took a week!
The good news is that we have been ready to start fulfillment for a month now. So barring any OTHER unforeseen delays, we WILL begin shipping your rewards next week. You will receive confirmation and tracking info as fast as I can get it out to you.
To Our International Backers
If you have not received your rewards yet, they are on the way. So far, no packages have been returned to Happyshops, which is good. If you have any questions, please message us privately. We’ll respond to you within a few hours at most. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone who has been posting your new puzzles on FB and Twitter! They look good =) Just know, you got to see them before we did....since ours aren’t here yet! What was I saying about patience?

Hello Everyone!
The Waiting Game
To start, we’d like to apologize for the long silence, but we had nothing to report as July through August was full of delays and waiting for answers. The reason? Every one of our contacts from the printer, the manufacturer, the logistics company and our fulfillment house was on vacation, and we wound up waiting much longer to get everything into place. We actually gave up on the printer and used another one, so you’ll notice the postcards and certificates are a little different this time around. Fortunately, everyone else jumped right into our project as soon as they got back, so we were finally able to get things moving. Phew!
US Backers
I just received word today that the US shipment is packed and ready to go. We’re just waiting on the logistics company to pick it up from the manufacturer and put it on the boat. Although it will probably be another few weeks before we actually have the puzzles here in our warehouse, we’ll have everything ready to start shipping your rewards right away.
Backers Outside of the US
Good news for our international backers, Happyshops has received the first shipment of puzzles, and they’re preparing to start fulfillment next week. So, all non-US backers can expect your shipments to go out within the next 2 weeks. Depending on your location, your rewards may take anywhere from a few days to 4 weeks to arrive.
Unclaimed Packages and Address Changes for International Backers
This is the last, last call for any address changes. Please message me right away if you need to change your address. Also, if you receive a notice from the courier that they have a package for you, please make arrangements to get it or have it delivered to a neighbor. We had a lot of unclaimed packages last year that were returned to Happyshops. Not only do we get charged for that return package, but you don’t get your rewards. Remember, backers outside the US and EU who got 2 or more puzzles will receive a tracking number to track your package. So, if you’re going to be out of town when it’s arriving, please make some other arrangements. Thank you=)

Long Overdue....

Hey Everyone!
Sorry that this update is sooooo long overdue-things have been rather chaotic here! We hope you are all enjoying your summer.
Moving Forward
The color proofs for the puzzles and boxes arrived about a week ago, and they look great! We had already placed our order with the manufacturer and wired the money, but approving the proofs makes it official. Now we have about a 2 week turnaround for production. At the latest, we hope to start fulfillment by early September, if not sooner. That goes for both International and US backers.
This is the postcard set up. There will be 3 different postcards, each with their corresponding puzzle. The images have been watermarked to protect the intellectual property of the artists. It might not look pretty, but better safe than sorry.
Thanks to everyone who filled out their surveys so quickly. That was a huge help in tallying up the puzzles that need to stay in Europe vs. coming here to the states. We will be locking down addresses on Thursday. Please, if you need to change your address, do it now. If you unexpectedly move before the rewards are shipped, please send us a message or email us directly at [email protected] with your new address.
